Warranty

The Oscar system carries a one year workmanship and materials warranty on all parts and a 90 day on site labor warranty for systems installed by Suncoast Systems, Inc. During this period, defective items will be replaced or repaired, at Suncoast’s option, free of charge. Damage to equipment caused by Acts of God, negligence, or abuse is not covered under warranty.

Money Back Satisfaction Guaranty

The Oscar system comes with a 60 day, customer satisfaction money back guaranty. If you are not satisfied in the first 60 days, for whatever reason, you have the option to return the Oscar equipment and you will receive your money back less installation and repair cost, if any, of damaged equipment..

Local Dealer Support

In order to provide the best possible local service to the farmer, Oscar will, when available, be offered with local dealer support. To become a certified Oscar dealer however will require extensive technical training on the part of the dealer and the dealer will also need to have sufficient spare parts to satisfy an Oscar service call. In this way, the farmer is guaranteed the best possible local support for his Oscar system and he can be confident that Oscar will be on the job the maximum amount of time.

Company Support

In addition to the local dealer support of Oscar, Suncoast Systems will also be available to provide field service support and will be available to assist the farmer in understanding, running and maintaining their Oscar system. As a normal service, Suncoast will provide free customer phone support for the first year of their Oscar system’s operation.

Oscar Is Not For Everyone

The Oscar system is an extremely powerful and profit making tool when it is properly maintained and used by the farmer. It is like having a competent and full time assistant constantly monitoring and taking care of your fish pond investments. The Oscar system requires very little maintenance, but it does require some. It is imperative, therefore, that the farmer spend about 15 minutes per month to check / clean the probe, to periodically cross check the D.O. Readings with Oscar’s readings and to generally keep up with Oscar and its operation. It is also important that the farmer look at and understand the information that Oscar provides to him. To simply buy and install an Oscar system and to expect to walk away and forget it is a recipe for a disaster. Oscar is a very good tool, but the farmer is still the one in charge and is the one that is ultimately responsible for his ponds.

Payment Policy

A payment of half (50%) of the total Oscar system cost is due immediately upon receipt of the Oscar equipment by the farmer. The remaining 50% is due 60 days later.
